With over 20 years experience in the marine industry, Simon’s knowledge of boats is extensive. He has not only completed a marine electrical apprenticeship, but is also a fully licenced electrician. Very few in the marine industry have a Certificate III in Electro Technology, making Simon amongst Sydney’s most qualified Marine Electricians. Simon’s commitment to staying at the forefront of marine industry developments can be attested to his attendance at product knowledge and technical support days, hosted by some of the world’s leading manufacturers of marine electronics. Simon’s passion for boats was engrained from a young age, having spent most of his childhood boating on Sydney Harbour. Throughout school Simon worked at Middle Harbour Yacht Club and after graduating he committed to a career in the marine industry working for d’Albora Marinas. With a love of boats running in the family, Simon started Noosa Charters with his father – the Sunshine Coast’s leading offshore fishing and boat-hire company. Still acting as a director of the business, Simon returned to Sydney to qualify and work as a marine electrician.
